The Art of Movie. Introductions.
Congratulations! If you are currently reading this post then that means you have been probably visiting my portfolio website. It also means you grew tired and bored of scrolling through my work and were just curious enough to come check out my personal blog. (Exactly how I designed it to be.) Well if you found this post by some other odd reason then allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tyler Wiley and I am a Graphic Designer and Photographer based in Mansfield Ohio. I have passions of seeking out a career within the film and animation industries and in hopes of sharpening my film history knowledge I will be creating this blog. I live with my girlfriend Cassandra and our dog and cat; id say we spend on average more than an unhealthy amount of our time delving into a new series or movie. Now enough about my personal life. You came here for the movies. The purpose of this blog is to formally introduce myself and the ideas that I will be bringing to the table within this series. The Art of Movie is not a grand schematic or well budgeted editorial series. What this is, is just my thoughts - whether you asked for them or not (Hey this IS my website after all, no?) about some of my favorite movies in no particular timeline. I tend to lean towards a good crime/drama or psychological thriller that leaves me empty inside dreading my eventual existential crisis and aching to leave my shell of a skin and run away to the deep Oregon wilderness and eventually fall into the set of an indie cult film. But, I also enjoy a good Disney movie. These are not critiques of these movies. These films and TV series are my favorites that I hold close to my heart. I am not opposed to open and deep discussion about any of these pictures. And yes I will be referring to movies as films throughout these blogs to signify that I am an art major. Kidding. Jokes aside, these are just my simple harmless thoughts that may not be professional or the general census about the actual film or the directors intention but I digress.
I feel like I am obliged to state one more time that these are my harmless thoughts about films and series that I have found interesting. These are not professional critiques but just opportunities for me to research and rediscover my passion for film and video.

Don't sue me for my opinions.
